It’s officially leather weather! I love leather because it adds just the right amount of edge to anything. From leather jackets to leather dresses, it’s one of my favorite materials to wear. Let’s talk about this for second. Faux leather used to be associated with pleather, Halloween costume materials, etc. In short, it looked cheap and never really looked like authentic leather. But over the years, manufacturers have truly perfected faux leather and often times you can’t even tell the faux fabric from the real stuff!
Faux leather is much more affordable than authentic leather and with great realistic options, there’s no need to spend more if you don’t have to!

This faux leather dress I’m wearing here is only $40 and from Target’s Who What Wear brand. They always have a handful of brown and black faux leather pieces each year, and they’re always on-trend. (You may remember these brown faux leather pants from last year. They’re also from Target and WWW!)
