I hope you’ve been enjoying my New York Fashion Week outfit recaps. Day 2 of Fashion Week was a little slower for me, so I decided to cozy up into something a little more relatable and a little less “street style.”
I stopped by the Rebecca Minkoff Presentation (always one of my faves) so I’m sharing some of my favorite looks in this post, too!
- WHEN: NYFW Day 2
- WHAT: Anine Bing Tapered Trousers, Anine Bing Sweater, Moon River Teddy Coat (on MAJOR sale – under $100), Marc Fisher snakeskin booties (sharing a Marc Fisher promo code for 20% off below!)
- WHERE: Lunch, Rebecca Minkoff Presentation, Dinner with the girls
THE OUTFIT
My Anine Bing obsession continued into Day 2 with these rust colored pants and complementary sweater. The sweater is just a touch darker than the pants, but still perfect for monochromatic dressing. (If you want something fancier, there is actually a matching blazer to the pants.) Apparently, I’m just really into matching separates lately.
THE SHOES
Speaking of matching separates, how perfect is this red shade in these snakeskin booties? I received these from Marc Fisher right before I left and instantly knew they were the missing link to my outfit. (I’m part of the Marc Fisher Style Squad, which means I get access to new arrivals to share with you throughout the next few months, but I also get to give you a Marc Fisher Promo code!)

They have some really great, on-trend styles that won’t break the bank. I’ve had a number of their booties over the years and so I’m really excited to be working with them in this capacity. This was my first time wearing these boots and I wore them all over the city without any sore feet or blisters.
THE COAT
I went back and forth a lot on outerwear for this look. Black seemed too severe and I wanted to wear something besides my white faux fur from my previous posts. I landed on this brown teddy coat that had been sitting in my closet for some time. The last time I wore it was actually when I was in NYC in November.
I thought it added some fun texture and kept things interesting in terms of unique color pairing. (Hi mom, I know you’re reading this, and you still probably don’t like the combo.) 🙂
It’s super soft, super snuggly, and currently on sale for under $100. I don’t see teddy coats going anywhere. Depending on where you live, get this to finish out the season, or buy it now and save it for fall.

REBECCA MINKOFF
I mentioned above that I went to the Rebecca Minkoff presentation on this day, so I wanted to share some photos from it. I did a fairly terrible job at taking runway show photos but remembered to snap some at this presentation. I always love Rebecca Minkoff presentations because she shows the current season – AKA you can start buying some of these items now. (Most designers show for the following season, meaning many of the things I saw were for Fall/Winter 2020.)
