Matt and I went to Santa Barbara earlier this month and the weather was absolutely perfect. I got to wear my two new dresses from Sezane, and brand I’ve known about for a few years but have never owned until now.
Sezane is a Paris-based brand that offers shipping directly from France to the US. There’s a little something for everyone, from jeans and tees to skirts and tops.
So, if you’re looking for French girl style that’s equally part minimalist and feminine, then you’re going to want to check them out.
I got so many compliments on both of my Sezane dresses when I shared them on Instagram, and they have so many cute dresses right now, I wanted to share my favorites here with you.

Sezane Summer Dresses
My Black Robe Dress
This black robe dress is absolutely perfect. You can wear it casually during the day, but it looks fantastic dressed up with nice sandals and gold jewelry for dinner. I was a little worried that the black dress would be too heavy for summer, but the fabric is SO lightweight. It almost feels like linen, but it’s actually a silk and cotton blend and extremely breathable for hot weather.
There’s something about the kimono style of this dress that feels so luxurious. I called it my fancy lady of leisure dress.
SIZE NOTE: It runs generously so if you’re in between sizes, size down. I have the size 4 and I think I maybe could have gotten away with the size 2.
My Saffron Mini Dress
I’m a complete sucker for anything in the marigold family, eyelet anything, and statement sleeves, so when I saw this ruffle mini dress I had zero will power.
The generous babydoll cut makes it super comfy and airy for hot weather. I know this isn’t a super common color, but I think that’s part of what makes it a statement dress! (I also found this extremely similar dress in white eyelet – so cute!)
SIZE NOTE: I am wearing the size 4, and would generally say it runs TTS. However, if you have a larger chest, I’d recommend sizing up; I find it’s a bit fitted in that area.
