What to Buy From the Dermstore Sale

Stock up on Faves or Try Something New!

Dermstore is having a 20% off sale through Monday! Obviously, any beauty sale means it’s a good time to stock up on your tried-and-true favorites, but if you’ve had your eye on something new, a little savings for a first-time purchase doesn’t hurt. Here’s everything I own that you can save money on during the Dermstore sale.

What to Buy at the Dermstore Sale, Best Skin Care Products | Charmed by Camille

Lancer The Polish

If there’s one skin care product you’ve heard me talk about maybe too much, it’s The Polish. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, this daily physical exfoliant has singlehandedly changed the texture of my skin. A little goes a long way (I use only a pea-sized amount) so you’ll have this for at least six months. It’s my favorite skin care products of all time and a must-buy at the Dermstore sale.

Sunday Riley CEO Vitamin C Serum

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed more irregularity in skin tone thanks to years in the sun as a teenager without sunscreen. Vitamin C has brightening, clarifying, and antioxidant properties, so it targets dark spots, dullness, and overall signs of anti-aging. It’s a powerhouse ingredient that also protects your skin against pollution. I Use CEO Vitamin C Serum during the day under my moisturizer.

Sunday Riley Good Genes

At night, I’ll swap out the CEO Vitamin C Serum for Good Genes. Lactic acid helps to smooth and clear skin. I use this in conjunction with The Polish and I love the results.

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel

I don’t use these peel pads daily, but given the name, you absolutely could. About two times a week (or if my skin ever looks a little bumpy) I’ll add these two step peel pads into my nightly routine. This is a mini at-home peel with no downtime.

Cosmedix Surge Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid holds 1,000 times it’s weight in water, so it’s a must have for anyone whose skin needs extra hydration. (Spoiler alert: that’s usually everyone). I press a few drops into my skin before moisturizer, then proceed with my skin care routine. I discovered Surge at from my facialist; every time she applied the it, I kept asking what it was. It smells SO good thanks to kiwi extract, but it also works.

COSRX Acne Patches

I found these COSRX acne patches at a Korean skin care store in NYC and I’ve been hooked ever since. Whenever you feel like you have a pimple coming your way, just apply one of these clear stickers over before bed. There is some crazy magic in here; the pimple is flat by morning and the liquid inside somehow transfers onto the sticker. You can actually see stuff on the sticker, it’s insane. ($4.80 during the Dermstore sale for 24 stickers is also a steal – why wouldn’t you add this to your cart?!)

Allies of Skin Molecular Silk Amino Hydrating Cleanser

I feel like cleansers are the middle child of skin care. I feel like we get one because it cleans our face and gets the job done. If anyone out there has a cleanser they’re obsessed with, please let me know. However, I recently tried Molecular Silk Amino Hydrating Cleanser and really liked it. Cleansers tend to be very stripping on my skin, and I felt like this was gentle enough while still cleaning my face. It has a really nice texture with mild foaming action.

Joanna Vargas Euphoria Sheet Masks

Other than random K-beauty sheet masks, Joanna Vargas makes my favorite. She has a handful of masks depending on your concern, but the Euphoria Sheet Masks hydrate and calm, which is perfect for my very dehydrated winter skin.

Christophe Robin Sea Salt Scalp Scrub

As a lover of dry shampoo, it’s really important that I take care of my scalp to prevent yucky build up and general environmental residue. Salt usually isn’t the greatest for your hair on a daily basis because it can dry out your scalp, so I only use this scalp scrub 1 – 2 times per month when it needs some deep cleaning. I rotate between this and…

R and Co ACV Acid Wash

ACV stands for apple cider vinegar, a natural detoxifier that helps to clean your scalp just like the scrub, only a little gentler. So, I’ll use this rinse weekly. With both items, my hair and scalp are noticeably cleaner. If you’re a dry shampoo addict like I am, get at least one of these to help your scalp breath.

Living Proof Dry Shampoo

Speaking of dry shampoo, this one by Living Proof is unique. Most dry shampoos just soak up oil, but the science in here is that this dry shampoo also cleans your hair. You spray it into hair, let is sit for 30ish seconds, then brush it out, so it’s a little different than its counterparts.  I’m usually a sucker for Drybar Detox dry shampoo, but this one has slowly been climbing the ranks and my hair doesn’t feel as dirty with this product.

Herbivore Botanicals Coconut Milk Bath Soak

Sometimes you just need to treat yourself to some me time. I like to do this in the form of baths, along with this coconut milk bath soak. It makes me feel much fancier than I actually am, and the coconut milk helps soften skin while you relax.

Nice to Meet You

Hi, I'm Camille! I left the corporate world of fashion and beauty to share all of my favorite things on the Internet. When I have nothing to wear my go-to outfit is jeans, a t-shirt, and a leather jacket. My hair is usually a little messy but I love it best like that. I live in Los Angeles.
