You may or may have not noticed, but shell jewelry is making its way onto ears, necks, and wrists these days. And today, I’m rounding up some of my favorites.
At first when I heard about this trend, I was not sure about it. Were puka shell necklaces really going to make a comeback? Rest assured, the shell jewelry trend is a little less 90s and a little more island princess.
Most of spring’s shell jewelry pieces showcase the full shell face itself. It’s a fun play on resort wear that instantly transports you to a tropical spring getaway. Unlike the puka shell necklaces of the past, this season’s trend features gorgeous upgrades. Think gold plated versions or pretty details like pearls of faux crystals.
This spring I purchased not one but two shell jewelry items and I have to say, they do really have a way of providing that laid back summer feeling, even if we aren’t quite there yet.
My bracelet with the pink string makes stacking bracelets fun, but keeps things casual with a friendship bracelet vibe. I then bought this gold plated necklace, and have been wearing it alone or layered with other necklaces. My exact necklace appears to be sold out but here is one that is basically identical! (You can also try checking back to see if the exact one gets restocked.)
