Today I’m going back to the basics and rounding up a bunch of nude ankle strap heels at a variety of price points. Whether you’re looking for an everyday sandal, a stiletto, or want to splurge on a designer shoe, there’s something for you.
Nude ankle strap heels are super versatile and closet staples, so luckily they come in a variety of prices and you don’t have to drop a fortune on them.
AFFORDABLE – UNDER $100
My favorite of this section are obviously the Vince Camuto ones I’m wearing above. Can you believe that these are under $100? PVC has become a trendy shoe detail and at this price, you don’t have to worry about spending a bucket load on something that may not last beyond the season. I know that the PVC strap isn’t for everyone, but I really like how these look on my feet, and for some reason my toes look longer than they are. I’m also one for a block heel, and these are a perfect height to skew fancier or casual. (Here’s another affordable PVC style with a thicker ankle strap.)
If you’re not a fan of the PVC trend or you just want that classic stiletto ankle strap silhouette, this pair by Steve Madden fits the bill. Just note that the ankle strap is elastic, and there’s no buckle.
I really like this strappy sandal from Schutz for two reasons. For one, it’s a bit of a darker nude than the others I could find. That’s a nice change and great for us medium/olive folks! Second, I love the detail above the toe. Multiple straps sort of melt together to make a pretty, but not over-the-top design.
This classic silhouette version in this price range is also by Schutz – click here to see them.
If you don’t mind paying more for a designer shoe, then this is the section for you.
A nude sandal is without a doubt going to stand the test of time so it’s fine to splurge here. No other designer has proven this than Stuart Weiztman with his infamous Nudistsong style. This particular shoe has been around for years and literally the most amazing minimalist design. He’s perfected the style and made it in a ton of heel heights including this lower, block heel version.
If you want a special nude ankle strap heel, then I love this pair with the front knot detail or these with the tie strap, both by Alexandre Birman. I have the tie strap style in a thicker heel in black suede, and I love them.
Regardless of where you fall on the spectrum, nude ankle strap heels are the ultimate solution for any outfit. They blend into any look, and elongate your legs – who wouldn’t want that?
