Happy October! I’m not really one to decorate my house for Halloween, but when it comes to scary movies and themed food and drink, I’m all in. Bonus points for when these things are super easy to make! Enter this easy Halloween cocktail: the Poisoned Apple. It contains just three ingredients and comes together in minutes. It’s so quick, it’s scary. (See what I did there?)

How to Make this Easy Halloween Cocktail
Here’s what you’ll need for this easy Halloween cocktail:
- Apple cider
- Pomegranate juice
- Tequila
The tequila cuts through nicely to balance the sweetness of the cider and pomegranate juice. Try to opt for 100% pomegranate juice if available, otherwise your drink may be a bit too sweet.
Pour in the apple cider, pomegranate juice, and tequila into a mixing glass. Stir, then pour over ice.
How fun are these skull cocktail glasses? They’re obviously not a requirement, but I’m a sucker for seasonal home ware. (If skulls aren’t your thing, these bat glasses are pretty adorable.)
Why quit while you’re ahead? Go ahead and lean into Halloween spookiness with some faux spiders to garnish your glasses. I got mine on Amazon and gave them a good, sudsy rinse before using them.
Looking for a Halloween snack? Try my sweet and savory Halloween Charcuterie board! There’s something on there for everyone.
I mean, is this not the easiest Halloween cocktail ever?
P.S. If you want to be super extra on your Halloween dedication, add a few chips of dry ice to your glass. It’ll add a perfectly creepy smoky effect.
The recipe below is for one single drink, but you can adjust the measurements as needed and throw everything into a punch bowl or cauldron if you’re hosting a party.
