When life gives you lemons, put on a matching yellow jumpsuit and a turban headband for good measure to match. That’s how the saying goes, right? Today I’m sharing all of the details of this fun, summery look.

If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know the jumpsuit is my best friend. If you’re new around here, let me tell you why. Jumpsuits are a one and done no brainer. They offer a little more substance that a dress, and you don’t have to think about matching a top and bottom. Easy peasy for when you feel like you have nothing to wear, too tired to think, or running late (like I usually am).
I’m normally not one for pants in the summer because my legs always get so hot (sorry if that’s TMI), but this jumpsuit is extra lightweight and perfect for high temps. I shot this look on what seemingly felt like the hottest day this season in LA, and it felt breezy and airy.

I love that this yellow jumpsuit is a floral print without being too much – in part because it’s just two-tone. But my favorite thing about it is the cute little ruffle detail along the bottom of each leg. In addition to its cheery yellow color, the ruffles add some fun. It’s summer! Don’t take your clothing seriously!
Unfortunately, the straps aren’t adjustable – however – I didn’t find any issues with them falling down. There’s also a smocked back to keep the jumpsuit tight around your waist but looser around your hips (AKA fitted where you want it; roomy where you want it.) I am wearing my normal size: size small.
If you’re not for jumpsuits – although you should try! – then this fabric also comes in a midi dress. I’ve linked it here and below. (Faithfull, the brand that makes this jumpsuit, seriously has an amazing assortment of lightweight summer pieces – see a bunch of them here or here.)
Now let’s get on to maybe my favorite part of this look – my giant yellow turban headband. There’s actually a wire inside of the fabric so you can move, tie, and twist is any way you want! My friend Grace had this headband in a different pattern last summer and it was so dang cute on her. Ever since I saw it on her, I’ve been waiting to find a print that I like to buy it!
