It’s safe to say I am beyond obsessed with this sequin dress. It’s also safe to say that I need to find somewhere to go with Matt for New Year’s Eve. Honestly, this thing is so fab I may even just wear it sitting on the couch watching Ryan Seacrest.
Sometimes do you ever just feel like being extra? That’s how I feel about this dress. It’s so sparkly and so amazing with the poufy sleeves. I legitimately feel like a 80s Barbie in it.
Look, it’s the holidays so I know you don’t really need an excuse to buy something as amazing as this sequin dress, but I’ll give you 3 reasons/ways to wear this baby to help convince you that you need it. (Also, it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg like other sparkly styles).

Sequin Dress: Tularosa | Belt: Artizia (similar here) | Shoes: Alexandre Birman (more affordable lace-up version here) | Bag: Gucci | Red Lipstick: NARS in Jungle Red
#1: The dress is cut in a very slight “A” shape, so it’s very cute and mod when worn as is. It looks really cute with some opaque tights, platform sandals, and a bold cat-eye.
#2: Add a belt, like I did here. I wanted to show off my waist a little so for this shoot I added a belt. This exact belt is from Aritzia and they also have it in a silver/black combo. I’m wearing my favorite open-toe tie sandals, but if you live somewhere a little colder than Southern California (i.e. everywhere else) then it looks just cute with pointed toe booties. I like these sock booties by Jeffrey Campbell because they really hug your leg.
#3: This dress is short, (I’m 5’4” and it’s short on me) so if you’re on the taller side, play the dress off as a tunic and rock it! I think this would totally look adorable with some slim ponte ankle pants like these. They’re thicker than tights so you don’t have to worry about bending over, and fancier than leggings.
Of course, any dress this fun is basically begging for a bold red lip. So, that’s exactly what I did here. I’m wearing my all-time favorite red: Jungle Red by Nars.
Now put on that Mariah Carey Christmas album and go be the best-dressed guest at that party!

I love how it’s a bit shorter but long sleeve and high neck so that there’s a nice balance! The belt also really adds something to it too!

Thanks Diana! I always love how long sleeves balance a short dress. The belt was a last minute addition! It’s so fun and sparkly, you literally can’t be sad in this dress because it’s so festive!
Now that’s one gorgeous dress dear!

Nikki
