Inez Shoes Review: Paz Boot, Isa Heel Sandals, & More

I don’t know about you, but the days of super high heels are behind me. Over time, I’ve traded in most of my stilettos for block heels and more comfortable heights. I have been gradually adding new shoes my footwear rotation and originally discovered the brand Inez during my hunt for a neutral heeled ankle boot. For the past couple of years, the brand’s best-selling Paz ankle boot has been one of my most worn pair of shoes, and over time have added a couple more Inez styles to my to my shoe collection. My Inez shoes may just be some of the most comfortable shoes in my closet. Here’s my full Inez shoes review on the Paz boots, Isa heeled sandal, and Caro boots.

Admittedly, I have never been that girl who can walk for blocks in any kind of heel, so when I kept seeing Inez Instagram ads all over the place claiming maximum comfort, my interest was piqued. The brand graciously gifted me its Paz 70 boot and the higher Paz 90 boot, but all thoughts about these shoes are my own.

About Inez Shoes

Inez shoes are designed in New York City and made in Spain, in a third-generation family factory. The brand focuses on craftsmanship via small-batch production and sourcing responsible materials.

All Inez shoes are designed to regulate pressed on your foot as you walk. Every shoe features proprietary plush insoles provide both cushion and arch support, something that I think really lacks in so many non-athletic shoes.

Sizing

One thing I really love about the Inez website is the attention to detail about sizing.

You can find fit notes for each shoe style and material on every single product page. Their shoes also come in different widths.

Both the Paz boot and the Isa heeled sandal run true to size. I am a size 7 about 90% of the time in shoes, and that’s what I have in these. With the boots, I wear medium weight socks with them. I went up to a 7.5 in the the Caro ankle boot, however, because I knew I’d be wearing them in winter with thicker socks. These also run TTS, but if you plan to wear thick socks with them like I do, you may also want to do what I did and go up half a size.

Paz Boot Shoe Details

Paz is a heeled ankle boot that is available in heights, 70mm and 90mm.

The Paz 70 boot is one of Inez’s best sellers and it’s easy to see why. You can find the Paz 70 bootie in a traditional ankle style, or a sock bootie style that hugs your calf. The version I own is the latter, called Paz Stretch on the brand’s website.

I love that the leather wraps around the entire shoe and heel for a beautiful, streamlined look. I feel like this is partially why the boots feel dressier and polished, regardless of how your style them.

Paz 70 is a 70mm heel, which is 2.8in. If you’re looking for something higher, take a look at the Paz 90, the 3.5in heeled version (pictured below).

Black Paz Boots

There is an inside zipper on these boots, so you can get them on and off super easily, while still maintaining a clean, sleek profile.

Although I like my higher Paz boots, I find myself reaching for the lower boot with the 70mm heel much more often.

70mm is the perfect height in my opinion. Although a lower heel, the boot still gives your legs an elongated look. The 70mm Paz boots are high enough to feel dressed up while also being a sensible heel height if you’re walking around during the day. It’s a highly versatile heel height that works for both day and night. I live in New York City part-time and I have walked blocks and blocks in these shoes.

The Ginger Suede is a great neutral bootie, and a color like this is hard to come by. To me this is such a perfect shade that works with every color in your closet.

I loved my tan version so much, I also ended up getting them in black, too!

Caro Boot Shoe Details

The Caro boot is an elevated Chelsea boot with a 2in leather stacked heel and a shaft that extends above above the ankle. These boots are resilient, and I feel like I don’t need to be as precious with them given that they’re leather versus suede. If you’re looking for an everyday boot, these are definitely a good option.

Unlike the Paz boot, the Caro boot doesn’t have a zipper. They are, however, just as easy to get on thanks to leather panels and a pull tab at the back for an easy slip-on style.

Isa Heel Shoe Details

The Isa sandal is a classic, 90s-inspired mule sandal with a slim heel.

I love the interlocking leather detail on this shoe. It adds a little something while still being very minimalist and sleek. The Isa is also available in black, cognac, and gold. The gold would be so pretty at a spring or summer wedding!

Despite my original hesitation with the skinnier heel, the Isa heels are the same height as the Paz 70 boots. Both are 2.8in heels, or 70mm. And as with all Inez shoes, even these sandals are made with arch support.

Comfort

The number one question here is obviously this one: Are Inez shoes comfortable?

I can’t speak to all the styles since I only own four styles from the brand, but yes.

I noticed the arch support and footbed immediately on all three shoes, especially the Isa. I’ve never seen a slide sandal with such great arch support.

The leather on these shoes is soft, and it molds to your foot without bagging out almost instantly.

If you’re trying to choose between the Paz 70 and Paz 90, I’d recommend the Paz 70 purely out of versatility. It has the lower heel height that I prefer, along with a stable block heel since I’m generally a nervous walker in stilettos. And since it’s a heel, you can wear these to dinner or whenever you want to feel a little dressy. The Paz 70 and Caro are both the most comfortable of all my Inez shoes.

However, the Isa and Paz 90 are also still comfortable, so I wouldn’t rule them out completely.

If you’re looking for the appearance of a sleek stiletto, the arch support on the Isa is truly so special and what makes them a standout amongst other, similar styles. And the Paz 90 boot has that block heel that I love, but it is higher than its Paz 70 counterpart.

The soles of my Inez shoes are cushioned and springy, and I just LOVE the arch support. As I mentioned previously, I feel like arch support is something you really don’t find in shoes that aren’t sneakers. And seriously, it’s a game changer.

All of my Inez shoes have required zero break-in time. And zero blisters while wearing any of the shoes!

My most worn pair of Inez shoes is definitely the Paz 70. I’ve worn them them to dinner, walking 20 minutes in NYC, and to meetings over the last couple of years without as much as a squished toe or sore ball of my foot. The Caro boot is my newest Inez shoe, and given the lower heel and durability, they’ll likely become another one of my most worn shoes.

Where to Buy Inez Shoes

Unfortunately, you can’t try on Inez shoes in person anywhere because they are a direct-to-consumer brand and only sell on their own website.

Shipping isn’t free, which I admit, is a bummer. However, the shipping is a flat rate (vs. paying more the more you buy) and Inez offers free exchanges and returns. So, if you really want to try different sizes, you don’t have to pay for any return shipping or a different size.

The brand also gave me a special discount code for Charmed by Camille readers: use Camille15Spring25 for 15% off your purchase on the Inez website.

The Verdict on My Inez Shoes Review

If you’re looking to invest in high quality shoes that are more comfortable than other heels out there, I really recommend Inez shoes.

The brand runs TTS, the shoes required zero break-in time, and I have already worn my boots more in fall and winter than the other heeled shoes in my closet.

Whenever your feet are in an unnatural position for a long period of time, they’re obviously going to feel a bit sore after awhile. But I can say with certainty, that I can wear my Inez shoes longer than any other heels I own.

My Inez shoes have proven to be comfortable, supportive, and extremely well-made.
