I know my post a few things back empowered you to buy the pink dress (I mostly meant this metaphorically, not literally), but I am loving this denim jacket/white summer dress combo so much, you might will definitely see me sporting various versions of this throughout summer.
To avoid this feeling too “Sunday brunch” and more “weekend uniform,” I made one easy swap – sneakers. Rose gold sneakers to be exact. I searched high and low for these babies for you guys, and while I couldn’t locate the same lace up pair, these slides came prettyyyy close. Now we can totally be twins!
If you’re not down to rock the whole sneaker with a dress thing, that’s totally cool, too. An outfit like this pairs super easy with some gladiator sandals. Or really any kind of sandal for that matter.
Either way, by adding a denim jacket around your waist, you can still look put together with a “full” outfit without having to actually wear the jacket in blistering heat. Wrapping a denim jacket or plaid shirt around my wait is my secret to feeling put together when I’m wearing an otherwise simple outfit. It just adds that little something.
