Hey everyone! I’m hoping that wherever you are, spring has started to show itself a little bit. It definitely has here in Los Angeles, and pretty soon bare legs are going to be a daily occurrence.

I’m usually really lazy on the weekends and it takes everything for me to get out of sweatpants, but when the weather starts to warm up I actually start to make an effort. Is it just me or is it easier to get dressed on the weekends when it’s nice out?
One of my favorite things to do in LA in the spring is eat outside. Los Angeles has some great patios, whether it’s a full landscaped version (Gracias Madre) or a little section of outdoor space at a casual place. Come summer, I love doing this at night, but for now I’ll have to stick with a late brunch or lunch.
This dress from Topshop has these cute little ruffles and polka dots. It’s so comfortable that I can’t stop wearing in on the weekends. It’s a dark navy but goes with everything. Navy and blush is such a cute color combo, and blush is totally having a moment (more on that in another post). Usually I’m not big on polka dots, but they’ve become a little more modern on clothing and a lot of brands are making them more subtle and less 50’s diner.
I wanted to make this outfit a little girly and so I wore these blush lace up slides by Madewell. You could easily pair them with with Converse sneakers though! It would look adorable with a denim jacket, too. I can’t wait to make some brunch plans and head out for the day in this outfit. What’s your favorite thing to do when it starts to get warm outside?
