I live for graphic tees and good denim. Usually when I style these two items, my outfit ends up being pretty California casual. I decided to switch things up with this look so I added kitten heels. It gives it a totally different vibe, don’t you think?
I snagged these kitten heels at Zara for only $40. Mega score! They remind me of this pair from The Row that I keep seeing everywhere on my blogger crushes, only a lot cheaper. This is the first pair of kitten heels I’ve ever owned, so I didn’t want to drop a bunch of money on a style I was unsure about (or a trend that may not be around next season).
It’s still so hot here but when I’m able to actually put on pants I can’t stop reaching for these jeans from MOTHER. They have the perfect amount of stretch; they are beyond comfortable but still hold their shape even after a handful of wears. Also, the rise is heavenly. I’ve been starting to appreciate higher rises because, despite what I thought in high school, they’re much more flattering than low-rise jeans. This is also the part of my post where I say I should’ve listened to my mother all along. Moms really do know best. 🙂
My top is by Sincerely Jules. She makes the cutest graphic t-shirts and I have about 4 from her collection. As the poster child for cool, Cali aesthetic, I always love her stuff. She’s a pro at mixing in t-shirts even when she’s a little dressy. I typically wear a small, and got a small in this top.
Personally, I love how this outfit looks with the heels! (Duh Camille, that’s why you shot this look.) An otherwise laid-back outfit, my kitten heels gave it a major upgrade. They’re the perfect way to take something day to night. Meow!
