Dresses. They come in close second to my friend the jumpsuit, since you don’t really have to put together anything else to wear. In the summer I love wearing dresses because I’m too hot to wear anything else, but I actually really love wearing them in the colder months because I love toughening up a dress with tights and booties.

LIFE HACK: I’m all about outfit formulas because you can mix and match pieces in and out without having to really having to reinvent the wheel each day/week/month. In this case it’s these three easy pieces: a dress, tights, and booties.

TIGHTS – I know it just snowed earlier this week in other cities, but if you live in a relatively moderate climate you can totally pull this off right now. I’m wearing tights on a bit of the sheerer side, but opaque tights can surprisingly keep you pretty warm.

DRESS – This Wayf dress is equal parts boho and Victorian. Its darker colors with the flocked flowers give it some edge while still maintaining some femininity. The balloon sleeves on these are so pretty and sheer. I’m still on the bandwagon with all statement sleeves! As of late I love this balloon style.

BOOTIES – Now, you can go with a ton of options here. Flats boots. Chelsea boots. Heeled boots. Usually I opt for a Chelsea Boot but these studded combat boots by Marc Fisher were too fun not to try. I’ve wanted combat boots for a while and I think the studs add some character.

Between a full-time job, blogging, working out, a commute, and trying spending time with Matt, I really don’t have time to think that much about my outfits. Yep, even as a fashion blogger, I’m not one to sit there and take forever to get ready. Plus I actually have zero time since I’m usually late to everything anyway.
