Every now and then I get the urge to step out of my normal non-print inclinations and wear something with a patten. When that happens, it is almost always a bohemian dress. To me, you can’t have a flower print without a flowing, 70s vibe. They just go together like peanut butter and jelly. In fact, practically all of the patterned items in my closet have that free-spirit flair to them.
When it gets a little bit colder, I’ll throw on a faux fur vest and add some scrunched down socks with the booties.
To help define the waist a bit more than the elastic already on the dress, I added this thin belt and made it tight enough so that the top portion of the dress hung over it.
I always love when the weather cools off because I love hats, so I try to wear them whenever I can outside of work. This red one just felt right with this outfit.
