A few weeks back, I asked on Insta Stories whether or not people wanted to see a lavender or pink look. Lavender beat out pink by only a smidge, so I thought – why not combine the two? Today’s look is all about color blocking with these pretty pastels: lavender and light pink.

I saw these $70 lavender pants on two bloggers that I follow, both styled completely different ways. (Here on Cait from How Do You Wear That, and here on Amy from Straight A Style.) Naturally, I had to try them and put my own spin on them. The high rise makes these pretty flattering, and it comes with a matching belt. You could remove it, but I think the belt adds a cute monochromatic touch that’s very on trend right now. These didn’t need hemming, which made me very happy! I am 5’4” and took my normal size.
I love how Cait did a monochromatic look and that was my original plan here, but I can’t resist a good graphic t-shirt! So, I paired my pants with this pink tee instead of adding more purple. It also matched my bandana almost identically! I guess between that and the matching belt to the pants, I’m kind rocking monochrome in my own way. ☺

My outfits are never too fussy and I’m a denim girl at heart, so I had to add a little bit here with this denim jacket. To keep things comfy, I opted for classic white canvas sneakers. These are one of my favorite pairs I own. They are by Tretorn and only $70, plus they go with literally everything. Right when I bought them I sprayed Scotchgard on them, and they’ve held up pretty well in terms of staying white.
I’m kind of digging this look and it makes me want to try experimenting with other color combinations that I normally haven’t done in the past. If you have any favorite color combos, send them my way!
Styling is everything. Pastel shades does blend easily with everything. I like the style/ gallery you present. The thought of spraying scratch guard on the white sneakers was a great dyi tip
