Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 apples, cored and sliced thinly
  • 1-2 pears, cored and sliced thinly
  • 1 orange, sliced then quartered
  • 1 bottle white wine
  • 1 cup pear or apple liqueur, or apple brandy optional
  • 12 oz hard apple cider
  • 3-4 cinnamon sticks
  • fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs, for garnish

Method
 

  1. In your pitcher, add apples, pears, oranges, and cinnamon sticks.
  2. Pour in the wine, hard apple cider, and liqueur (if using).
  3. Stir well, then cover top with plastic and let chill for at least 30 minutes to an hour.
  4. When you're ready to serve, pour fall sangria over ice-filled glasses. Spoon out some fruit into each glass, then garnish with a thyme or rosemary spring.
