Method
- Add the berries, mint leaves, sugar and lime juice to a sturdy glass. Using a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon, gently muddle the berries and mint leaves until the berries are smashed and the mint leaves are slightly bruised.
- Add generous amount of ice to fill your glass, then the rum. Gently stir until the ice reduces a bit and your glass starts to get icy.
- Top off with club soda.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and berries if desired. Serve immediately.
