Yes to rompers! Much like the jumpsuit, I love a good romper, so tonight I’m sharing my top rompers for summer and why I love them so much.
For those of you who have been following me for awhile now, you know that I am super lazy and try to find the most comfortable/least effort required type of outfits, and that in general I am not big on the print situation.
Here I am again in a lazy girl outfit, only this time I’m in her summer sister, the romper. While I love rompers for the no brainer outfit reason, there’s some other great qualities about them, too.
Rompers are extremely versatile. I’m wearing this one here on the casual side with flat sandals and a backpack, but there’s no reason why I can’t wear this out to a nice dinner this summer with the hubs and make it a little nicer with some heeled sandals and a smaller bag. And hey, if you actually are on vacation, this exact outfit is perfect for dinner, no heels required! Plus, wear it the next day over your suit with some flip flops. Poolside perfection.
Speaking of vacation, rompers are extremely easy to pack. You don’t have to worry about matching what top to which bottom, and they roll up so that you have room for other important things like shoes and handbags. Plus you have that dinner/next day pool cover up going for you, too.
I mentioned above that I’m not huge on prints, but I am a firm believer on this one that in the case of rompers, most of the time, if not all of the time, they should be printed. There’s something about the silhouette of them that makes them so fun that rompers are pretty much the only type of clothing that I’ll buy in a print.
I’ve included my fave rompers for summer for you to shop below (unfortunately this one sold out, sorry!), and hopefully you’ll be seeing me in more rompers to come. Happy summer-ing.
