Nothing says summertime like an all-white outfit. Today I’m keeping things nice and simple with this white linen top and easy breezy white shorts.
While I’m definitely a huge fan of the LWD during these months (as seen in this post and this post), I wanted to change things up a bit. So I opted for an all-white set instead.
This actually isn’t technically a *matching* all-white set because both pieces are different brands, but it gets the job done. White is pretty easy to match, but if you look closely at these photos, you’ll see that my shorts are just slightly off-white. Don’t sweat it, girl! You don’t need your pieces to match perfectly to accomplish a head to toe monochromatic look; just look for different fabrics to play off the subtle changes in the color.
This top was gifted to me and I was a little hesitant about the wrap front situation. I just didn’t want to be too revealing. There’s actually a teeny baby button that fastens right above the tie, which luckily kept the front together.
I am normally not one for crop tops, but I fell in love with this shirt once I realized I could show off some skin without it being too much. I chose high waisted shorts intentionally but note how the side of the shirt goes down longer on the sides, then only shows a little bit of skin in the front. If you’ve been wanting to rock a shorter top, I recommend this one as it totally surprised me!
I couldn’t find the exact shorts online (I bought them a few months ago from a boutique in Santa Barbara), but I’m linking a few similar styles below.
To finish the look, I accessorized with stacks of friendship/shell bracelets and my new round straw bag; all of which I got in Bali! If you search on Etsy, you can find a ton of similar friendship and shell bracelets for pretty decent pricing. I also found an this almost identical straw bag on there for you, too!
And since the neckline cuts into a deep V, I filled in that empty space with some layered gold necklaces. This gold coin necklace is one of my go-tos – I wear it with almost every outfit.
This simple outfit is so breezy and perfect for hot days!
