Boyfriend jeans. My second favorite type of pants next to these guys. Nobody can judge you in them, even if you’re in heels, since it’s denim and socially acceptable to wear denim everywhere when said joggers from the previous post receive judge-y eyes. But that’s never happened to me, ever. 😐
I’ll be honest, I wear heels with these pants about 0.1% of the time, and when I do, I love how they look! I should really work on that other 99.9%. If people ever see me in these it’s Friday night after a long week of work and I’m in flip flops just trying to order Sweetgreen and get home to binge on Gossip Girl (10 years late to the party) without taking a detour to Fonuts across the street.
But back to these jeans – they remind me a bit of vintage Levi’s without being worn by questionably 5 people. I know I promised that I was going to lighten up my color choices and try to avoid black, but I clearly failed here. At least I’m in light wash jeans, I can’t win ’em all, right?
I also got a little crazy here by wearing not only a crop top, but an open-ish back as well. (!) I have to admit, I’m not mad at it and the fact that from the front you have no idea when I turn around I’m about to show you some skin is pretty awesome.
A jewelry minimalist at heart, this is about as much bling you’ll ever see me in all at once, and i only did it because the neckline of the pseudo-conservative top went up so high.
