*Insert Devil Wears Prada quote about floral for spring*
I know, floral for spring really isn’t that groundbreaking, but this $27 affordable floral dress has the perfect minimal print that I just couldn’t buy or wear it without sharing.
First, you can’t really beat that price point for this floral dress. It’s from the Who What Wear collection at Target and perfect for spring! I always love a short dress with long sleeves because I love the proportions.
Sometimes cheaper pieces and price points meant you have sacrifice important details, but not here. This airy dress comes fully lined so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through. Love that! The dress is 100% cotton but it’s a basket weave so feels almost like a linen; so even if it gets hot during the day you won’t sweat in the long sleeves.
I’m wearing a belt here to give my waist some shape, but this affordable floral dress is A-line and looks just as darling on its own.
Instead of white sneakers or sandals, I decided to jazz things up a bit (I was in NYC after all) with my studded Anine Bing ankle booties. These are for sure a splurge, but because I tend to dress on the minimal side, these edge up my look and add a fun detail. (Don’t worry, I added a couple of more affordable studded booties for you to shop below, just in case!)
My denim jacket is old, but I found a similar oversized version which randomly also happens to be at Target! Talk about a killer piece at a killer price! You can get the two main components of this look (the jacket and the affordable dress) for just around $60… Talk about an easy-on-your-wallet upgrade for spring!
