Happy Monday and happy third installment of March’s Spring Trend Series! I hope you’ve liked these posts; I still have one more after this before it’s over but let me know if you want to see kind of series for other seasons.
It’s practically 80 degrees here in Los Angeles, and the sun is shining. It literally couldn’t be a more perfect that to talk about this happy spring trend: golden yellow. (Although true story, it’s supposed to rain later this week…)
I’m sharing all of the details of this look and rounding up 32 golden yellow pieces you need now.

Dress – ASTR The Label | Straw Bag – Cult Gaia (shop more from Cult Gaia here) | Espadrilles – Soludos (Shop more espadrilles here) | Sunglasses – Le Specs | Earrings – Shashi
Last summer I gathered up a few golden yellow pieces here and there, with this jumpsuit being my favorite. I am so happy that the marigold, golden yellow, mustard… whatever you want to call it… shade is back for spring! There’s just something about this color to me that makes me happy. It’s a great color for spring but definitely wearable all summer, too.
Jordan (my photographer) and I found the cutest little cactus alcove and the second I saw it I literally climbed right in. Usually I like more of a city vibe, but for this golden yellow dress, I needed cacti. Lots of it. For a second we both felt like we were on vacation in Mexico or something!
This dress is by ASTR the label and they always make on-trend, but affordable pieces. (See more from them here.) I love the midi length, but my favorite part – let’s be honest here – is the pockets. I don’t think there’s a single woman on earth who doesn’t enjoy a dress with pockets. Instead of swapping out the belt I kept the tonal fabric one, but you could easily switch it out for a white or tan one, or even a chain belt. I’m wearing a small and it fits perfectly, but if you’re in between sizes I would go up a size because it’s a little narrow around the rib area.
Depending on the weather where you are, you could wear as is, or just drape a denim jacket over your shoulders for an added layer. You can also add a camisole under the dress if you want some extra coverage.
These Soludos espadrilles are always my go-to shoes for spring because they are seasonally appropriate without showing toes. Somehow it always gets really hot randomly whenever my feet desperately need a pedicure. So I like to think of these as the perfect shoes when it’s warm but my toes are not cute at all. Note to self: book a pedi ASAP!
SHOP THE LOOK

I kept my accessories earthy with this straw Cult Gaia bag and a pair of resin earrings. I purchased this bag two summers ago I still love it. It’s always a perfect neutral for any soft look like this, and I don’t foresee it going anywhere. This is the size small, but they also have other sizes now along with other colors. How cute is the pink acrylic version?
I’m normally not one for big earrings because they’re always so heavy. But these resin earrings are pretty lightweight and so I can barely feel them. If you don’t know, now you know: resin is totally having a moment, especially when it comes to earrings. I also like that the tortoise of the earrings picks up on the same pattern in my sunglasses.
As promised, I’ve rounded up a ton of my favorite golden yellow pieces below for you to shop. Thirty two of them to be exact! From shoes to dresses, you can be sunny from head to toe. Don’t forget to check back next Monday for the fourth and final post of the Spring Trend Series.
