Spring usually calls for delicate florals, but this season I’m seeing all kinds of fun bright colors. And why not?! Flowers are blooming, grass is turning green again, and leaves are finally starting to come back on the trees. Fashion this year took a cute from nature and there’s a ton of spring brights out there to help you celebrate the season of rebirth.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been seeing tons of red out there! I wore a red dress back in February and so many of you loved it! It inspired me to hop on this red wagon and brighten things up a bit.
This Tularosa red crochet dress is super easy to wear during the day with a jean jacket and sandals like I am here. It’s boho vibes also make it perfect just in time for festival season! I can totally see someone belting the waist and adding some cute booties and a hat. It also comes in a beautiful ivory. Perfection!
I’m not really a pattern girl (unless it’ stops or dots), so the crochet is a perfect way to wear a pattern without really wearing one, you know? It gives the dress some texture and the little pom noms on the sleeves and the hem make it fun to wear.
Other than my studded Rebecca Minkoff handbag, everything else is pretty minimal because the dress itself is a statement. I’m wearing this denim jacket by Madewell and these AMAZING Matt Bernson slides. (P.S. the slides go with everything and I cannot stop wearing them).
I’m supposed to be heading out to see the superbloom this weekend and can’t wait to see all of the bright, happy colors of the flowers. Maybe they’ll inspire me to buy something in a mustard or orange color?
