Don’t get me wrong, I love dressing up and going somewhere fun. But as a Southern California girl, I live in jeans and t-shirts. LA totally embraces the effortless jeans/t-shirt/heels look for dinner; so really, I never need anything beyond this.
For a while, my closet consisted mostly of t-shirts, and I tried to convince myself to buy “adult” tops for work. It didn’t really work. I just can’t help it! I’ve been really lucky to always have a casual environment everywhere I’ve worked, and I’m convinced if I ever had a job beyond business casual that I would just give up completely.

These reasons, combined with my sheer laziness for getting ready on the weekend has led me to believe that I’m somewhat of a t-shirt connoisseur. I am always on the quest of find the softest, most comfortable t-shirt. For a hot minute there I thought I found it. Then, I got this Splendid t-shirt. Splendid has always been known for soft, high-quality material, but this t-shirt put me over the edge. It’s part of their new MVT line (most valuable tees). And when they say most valuable, they mean it. This is the softest shirt I’ve ever worn. I’ve worn it the past two weekends, all weekend, because it’s basically perfect. It’s slightly oversized but not too baggy (I’m in a size small), and it’s lightweight but not see through. Made from 50% Supima Cotton and 50% Modal, it’s not just an average t-shirt – it’s a blend of “I’m wearing a cloud” goodness.
I personally love v-necks, but the MVT collection also features three other silhouettes. Available in a boxy tank, a fitted tank, and a crew neck, there are also a handful of colors. But I mean, this pink is obviously the cutest in my opinion!

By the way, how amazing are these destructed jeans by 7 For All Mankind? They are the perfect washed out denim and have a slightly boyfriend silhouette. I never tend to over think my outfit when I’m wearing a really great pair of jeans or a t-shirt, because I love that relaxed vibe. Sometimes, less is more. And when you’re wearing a soft, ultra-luxe t-shirt like this one, do you really need anything else? BRB, going to get more colors.
