I finally caved into the gingham trend and bought my first piece in the pattern. It’s safe to say it won’t be my last. I mean, who doesn’t want to dress like a picnic? I feel like this pattern instantly brightens up my day because it screams summer fun.

This Madewell gingham shirt is slightly cropped and so I paired it with these high waist jeans from American Eagle. I love how the dark blue of the denim makes the blue of the shirt pop. I also kind want to be on a boat somewhere wearing this top with this midi skirt and lace up flat sandals. I mean, am I right?!
