When I asked the world of Instagram what it wanted to see for fall, the top vote went to sweaters. This led me into a black hole on the Internet searching all things sweaters, and I made me realize how badly I’d like to cuddle up in one right now. I always gravitate towards neutral tones, because they go with so much. So today I give you this month’s edition of Fashion Finds Under $200: neutral chunky sweaters for fall.
I know there are ton of types of sweaters out there, but my absolute favorites are chunky sweaters. They look effortlessly chic when tucked into high-rise jeans, but work on lazy days over leggings, too. If you live in a place that has a milder climate like LA, I really love wearing a chunky sweater like I am here – with a leather skirt and booties for an easy, no-fuss look. The sweater I’m wearing in this post (photo #4) is only $65 and has just a touch of metallic thread running through it.
Here are some quick call outs on the chunky sweaters below:
#2 – Stripes in classic black and white are a fun way to add interest to plain bottoms, and make any look instantly more chic for just $76.
#3 – A muted dusty pink like this sweater goes with a ton! To make the pink pop a bit, try pairing with navy for an unexpected twist instead of traditional black.
#5 – A cute mock neck means you won’t get too toasty, and for $68, you can’t really beat the price. Also available in black and rust.
#7 – Thick stripes in cool and warm tones means you can choose a variety of colors on both sides of the spectrum to pair with this sweater.
#9 – My kind of color blocking! I love the dark gray sleeves on this sweater, and Splendid makes some of the softest stuff ever.
