It’s been over a year (!) since I’ve shared my everyday makeup routine, so here’s an updated post for the summer of 2020! Although my everyday makeup routine is still simple, natural, and only takes about five minutes, I’ve changed up what I use.
You’ll find a video here showing how I apply my everyday makeup routine products, plus a breakdown of everything below – enjoy!

The Products I Use
I always start with my eyebrows first. I love Benefit Cosmetics eyebrow pencils, and I currently use their Goof Proof brow pencil (shade 4). There’s a pencil on one end and a spoolie brush on the other side. In the past I’ve used their Precisely, My Brow product (which I equally loved), but this pencil is a bit thicker so dispenser the color quicker.
I discovered Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes mascara about two years ago and I’ve been using it ever since. I used to use Tom Ford mascara and was convinced it was the best mascara ever… until I found this. This mascara is the blackest black, gives lashes length, volume, and JUST enough drama without being clumpy.
I never used to use a corrector, but in the past year or so the area under my eyes has gotten progressively darker. I use this Magic Vanish corrector in shade medium under my concealer, and it instantly brightens up my circles. I’ll also use this around my nose to balance out any redness when experiencing it.
After applying the corrector, I’ll put this Shiseido concealer over it and where I have any blemishes. I worked with Shiseido two years ago, which is when I discovered this concealer. It’s their Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Concealer. Just like the name, the formula self-refreshes to stay fresh throughout the day. I can wear this all day without any creasing. If you experience creasing often with concealer, consider adding this to your everyday makeup routine.
I’m still trying to transition into more clean makeup products (the above items are not clean formulas). Beauycounter is a clean brand and I really like Tint Skin, a tinted moisturizer. I’m wearing the shade Sand. I’ve never been one for a heavy foundation, so the lighter the better for me. I use this to really just even out my skin and give a little extra coverage over blemishes.
I’ve used NARS blush in Orgasm forever – it’s a cult classic – but this summer I’ve been more into a bronze glow. This Bronzino bronzing balm from Tower 28 Beauty (also a clean brand!) is buildable and the formula is very lightweight so won’t drag down your cheeks.
If I’m staying home, I won’t put on any lipstick. However, if I’m going to a meeting or event, I’ll throw on a nude lip. I’ve mentioned this one a handful of times on here – it’s Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk. This pulls out the pink tones of your lips to accentuate the natural color of them rather than covering it. Most nude lipsticks make me look dead; I do not have this issue with this. (If you have darker skin and berry-hued tones in your lips, Charlotte Tilbury also offers a darker option in Pillow Talk.)
My everyday makeup routine is fuss free, and more of a no-makeup makeup look.
Thanks so much for sharing! I’m always on the lookout to try new beauty products!
