Sephora has always been a go-to destination for me when it comes to all things beauty. I love makeup and hair care, but as a thirty-something female I always love buying and trying new skin care products. I’m always looking for the next great product that works on my skin. I often share different things I’m trying and/or using on Instagram, but wanted be sure there was a convenient place on this blog to find all of my favorites.
In this post you will find all of my favorite skin care products available at Sephora. When needed, I’ll be sure to update this post if something amazing comes along that knocks one of the products below off of the list.

Skin care products work differently for everyone, and we all have different skin concerns. I have combination skin but also tend to get dehydrated easily. My main concerns include fine lines, congestion, and hydration. The below is what personally works for me.
I am not a dermatologist so if you have any questions, be sure to consult yours.
My Favorite Sephora Skin Care Items
Cleansers

Dermalogica PreCleanse – Double cleansing is a game changer when it comes to properly cleansing your skin. By using an oil cleanser first, you’re able to rid skin of dirt and grime so your other cleanser can actually clean your pores, not just your skin’s surface.
I’ve used this lightweight PreCleanse oil cleanser from Dermalogica now for nearly 6 years.
(My esthetician says double cleansing is a must for glowing skin; read all of her tips in this post.)
Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser – Historically I’ve always loved foamy cleansers over a cream ones, until I found this cleanser from Tata Harper.
This product cleans pores while also buffing away dead skin cells; gentle enough for daily use; but also leaves skin hydrated. Bonus points for the delicious and refreshing apricot scent.
Exfoliants
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant – If you’re looking for a stand alone daily exfoliant, try Daily Microfoliant.
This exfoliant is super gentle, and leaves skin feeling so soft without stripping away any natural oils.
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate – If you want an exfoliant thats a little stronger than the above, my go to pick is Kate Somerville ExfoliKate.
I like to keep this in the shower, leave on for a few minutes, then rinse off. It smells like cinnamon!
My Top Skin Care Serums & Treatments at Sephora
Sunday Riley Good Genes – This is probably my all time favorite when it comes to Sephora skin care products.
Sephora describes Good Genes as “a lactic-acid, AHA serum that targets the look of pores, hyperpigmentation, and dark spots and is clinically shown to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles.”
I personally find that my skin is smoother and brighter in the mornings when I use this treatment at night.

Sunday Riley CEO Vitamin C Brightening Serum – Vitamin C is a big power ingredient when it comes to evening skin tone and reducing dark spots.
As a high school swimmer in SoCal who didn’t like to use SPF as a teen (cringe), this Vitamin C Serum is a must for me to help reduce some of that hyperpigmentation. (Another must-have product for glowing skin!)
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate – I started using this nighttime serum in New York after a few days of our radiator blasting and drying my skin.
Squalene helps hydrate the skin, but I also love the lavender oil in it to help with relaxation before bed. This has become an essential part of my nighttime NYC skin care routine.
Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel – About once a week these (or whenever my skin feels congested), I’ll use these peel pads from Dr. Dennis Gross.
For me, these really help with my skin’s texture when it feels bumpy. These have been a staple in my skin care routine for years.
Masks
Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask – I love a good detoxifying mask! A lot of them use charcoal but this Kiehl’s mask uses Amazonion white clay, another great natural ingredient to draw out skin’s impurities.
You only need a thin layer, so this big tub should last you a very long time!
Drunk Elephant Babyfacial – I find that a lot of Drunk Elephant products don’t for for me, but I LOVE Babyfacial.
When my skin needs a major SOS, I leave on this exfoliating mask for 20 minutes for a power treatment to smooth my skin and improve its texture.
Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) help to peel surface cells of your skin for a smoother feel, while Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) absorb deeper into the skin to removed dead skin cells and excess oil.
Moisturizers
Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream – If your’e looking for a luxurious moisturizer, this is it.
Since I have combination skin, The Rich Cream personally is too thick for my daytime use, but perfect for me for nighttime. I use about a pump and a half, right after my serums.
This cream definitely has a weight to it, but it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy on the skin.
