June Fashion Finds Under $200 | Summer Vacation Wardrobe

Welcome to June! I’m on a plane today heading back to Los Angeles but I’ve got a trip to Trinidad and Tobago in a couple of weeks. As much as I love getting a little more dressed up than usual in NYC than LA, I have a tropical vacation on my mind. So, this month’s fashion finds under $200 are all inspired by a warm-weather getaway. These are my favorite items for a summer vacation wardrobe.

When I shop for vacation, I like buying some fun “vacation only” pieces that fit the vibe of wherever I’m traveling. But for the most part I like to keep pieces versatile. Not only can I mix and match (and pack light), but I can keep the pieces beyond just a tropical vacation, and wear them when I’m back home or anywhere else summer may take me.

As always, if you see something you like, just click on the image of the item and it’ll take you directly to shop it!

Here are some of my favorite pieces for a summer vacation wardrobe:

This maxi dress is probably the most versatile thing in this collage. If you’re venturing away from the beach and into the city, this looks really cute with a pair of flat sandals. Easily dress it up at night with a pair of wedges and some accessories. It even triples as a cover up for your swimsuit. The spaghetti straps tie, so there’s a bunch of ways to wear this dress – tank, halter, and even strapless.

This yellow one-piece swimsuit from Splendid is one of those tropical pieces that add a punch. I’m so in love with this cheery yellow color for summer so was happy to find it in swimsuit form. Plus at less than $100 it’s a steal.

A white linen button-up shirt is multi-functional and a must for any summer vacation wardrobe. It’s easy to toss on over a swimsuit, but it also provides an extra layer over a dress or tank if there’s a slight nighttime breeze. I like the idea of putting this on with a pair of easy shorts like these for a sunset cruise. Very chic, but very comfy.

I love a big beach bag because I like to make sure I can fit all of my belongings, including a towel and a hat. This circle one is so cute (I love a circle bag – and this is only $60!) and stylish enough to double up as an actual tote for daytime shopping or dinner. I love the combo to the natural and black – it’s an easy way to look put together and stylish on the beach but requires zero effort.

Last but not least, you can’t forget sunglasses on a summer vacation. I’ve always wanted tortoise sunglasses but could never seem to find the right pattern for my complexion and hair color. After literally years of searching I landed on this pair by Le Specs.

If any of you reading this have been to Trinidad and Tobago, please send any recommendations my way! I did a little research and all I know is that the water is blue, blue, BLUE. Where are you going this summer?
