As a not-so-hidden beauty fanatic I’d feel remised if I didn’t create a special gift guide for women like me. There’s something I just love about cute holiday sets and limited-edition packaging.
You can find most of these beauty gifts broken down by price in the other sections of my holiday gift guide in the navigation above. I also added a couple splurge pieces in this post for the glam guru in your life (even if that’s you).
Honestly, I buy a lot of makeup for myself this time of year. Limited-edition sets often have a value savings (if I already know the brand) or a variety of mini best-sellers. If it’s a brand I’ve never used, I’ll pick up a set so I can try the hero products without having to invest in full size (and full-priced) product. For example, I’ve been wanting to try GLAMGLOW face masks for awhile now but never wanted to invest in them. I just ordered this Let it Glow! Supermud Set which comes with 4 different products that I can try.
I’ve always gone to Sephora because they have such a wide selection of different brands, but lately I’ve also loved shopping at Cos Bar and Space NK. They are smaller, highly curated stores and the experience is a bit more luxurious than Sephora. As I’ve gotten older I’ve spent my extra money on skincare, prestige makeup, and fragrance, so it’s always a treat shopping at these spots. They have great, more bespoke brands like By Terry, Jo Malone, Diptyque and Eve Lom. I recently updated the right side of the blog so you can shop all of my favorite spots including all three of these stores!
Speaking of Eve Lom, how cute is this ornament? It’s under $25, comes with one of my favorite cleansers, and prefect for the tree! I told you, I’m a sucker for holiday packaging.
I am obsessed with Diptyque candles and this gift set has a nifty gold spinning carousel to attach on top of the candle, which gets propelled by the smoke. This takes candle gifting to a whole new level! Wouldn’t you feel so loved if you received this as a gift? Heck it’s so cute I want one for my own coffee table.
I mentioned this in my Gifts Under $25 page, but my secret to gifting multiple people (co-workers, girl friends, secret Santa parties, etc.) is to buy a handful of kits that contain multiples of the same thing, then break them up into individual pieces. It’s a great way to gift friends a lot of little “nice” things. Last year this set of Clinique chubby stick lipsticks sold out so fast, so I’d shop this one early. I’m also loving Sephora Collection clay face masks. You can typically buy them in individual packs but for the holidays they’re bundling them in sets right now like this one.
If you’re looking to splurge (whether that’s on someone else or yourself), then why not pick up a set of Artis makeup brushes? Not only are these brushes beautiful, but they’re ergonomic and make applying makeup a breeze. They have invisible fibers that attach to the makeup, so over time you’re actually using less to cover more area. I have one of the oval face brushes and every time I use it to apply my foundation, I always get a ton of compliments on my complexion.
One last thing that that’s a must-have for the beauty girl who has everything is this travel hair dryer set by Drybar. I feel like a lot of ladies neglect purchasing travel size dryers even though most hotel ones are terrible. For the longest time I didn’t have one; then I sprung for this exact hair dryer and now I won’t travel without it. This little thing may be small but is it mighty. I can hardly tell it’s a travel version because it dries my hair so well and has so much power!
Here’s everything I’m loving in the beauty space for the holidays. Check back as I’ll be adding more gifts as the season progresses!
