Even though it’s still summer, it’s hard not to think about all of the great fashion that just got dropped in all of my favorite stores and sites. My head is telling me to wear cut off shorts, but my heart is telling me to buy the checkered overcoat. Despite the weather, I still couldn’t resist scooping up some fall items. Since I couldn’t wait until it cooled off, I decided to shoot a fall preview in 80+ degree weather.
I just posted these Dolce Vita booties onto Instagram, and I’m really looking forward to wearing them this fall. I always love how heels look, but I’m horrible at walking in them. At last, I finally have a pair of heeled shoes that I can live in. The most comfortable booties ever! Not too high or low, and whatever angle the rest of your foot is on isn’t unbearably uncomfortable or unnatural. If you’re not quite on the burgundy bandwagon (AKA big fall trend), you can also go for the black version.
Ankle booties can be kind of tricky to wear depending on how they cut at your leg, but since these have a sock-like fit. They really hug the shape of your body. I am officially obsessed since these are also so flattering.
I’ve been loving white dresses this summer, but I also love a good black outfit with a jacket. I really can’t wait to turn this “fall preview” outfit into my uniform through the new year. Last year, it hovered around 80 degrees right up until November, so I’m hoping for something different this year. Even though I’m a California girl at heart, I also love myself some great fall clothing.

Hi Maggie! They are really great boots. I am horrible at walking in literally anything over an inch and these are amazing! I think they are just so flattering on the ankle, which is hard to find on some ankle boots at that ankle height. If you get them, let me know how you like them! 🙂
