If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I was in New York City a few weeks back. I met up with Nick Urtega, the man behind the lens of his photography company, Coastal Flicks, in DUMBO.
I’ve never really spent time in Brooklyn, but it is safe to say that DUMBO is beautiful and I love it just as much as Manhattan. It’s less crowded, and you kind find just as many cute cafes and restaurants as you can in the city. Plus, the view of Manhattan just can’t be beat. It’s officially one of my top 10 favorite spots in NYC.
Not only do you get a money shot of the Manhattan Bridge, there’s also a beautiful park right along the edge of the water if you ever want to go for a nice walk or run. It was super humid the day we shot these so even though I look easy breezy, I kind of wanted to jump into that pool of polluted water called the East River. But hey, I was in New York, so there more more important things to worry about… like where I was going to get pizza.
