Daytime Sparkle | Splurge-worthy Sequined Pieces for Fall

I’ve never considered myself super girly when it comes to dressing. Sure, I love a floral here and there, but I’m super specific with them and ultra-feminine silhouettes on me are a rarity. But your girl LOVES herself a sequin, and so I couldn’t be happier to see that daytime sparkle is a major do for fall.

I picked a handful of my favorite splurge-worthy sequined pieces that you can totally work during the day for fall. Bonus – the sequins make for an easy transition into night, so you won’t have to change your look for dinner! Scroll to the bottom to see what’s on my lust list.

Shiny things sometimes strike me as being a little girly, but they are also a little rock ‘n’ roll, which I think is why I love them so much. Seriously though, if I had to choose between two identical items and one had sequins on it, the sequined piece would always win. Except if the other piece had fringe… then that would be tricky.

When I saw this sequined t-shirt dress, I stalked it until it went on sale because I had to have it. It’s practically sold out but I managed to find a couple of sizes left (and one size left in a silver version), so if you are dying over this as much as I did when I first saw it, click fast!

My trick for making sequins feel a little more laid back and less glam? Add a pair of sporty sneakers like the ones I’m wearing here. Athleisure pieces are still going strong for fall, and white sneakers give any outfit a subtle tomboy feel, while still being very chic.

I’ve had this $45 clutch for a couple of years now and leopard is HUGE this season, so I dug it up and brought it back out. I have a feeling it’s going to get a lot of mileage these next couple of months. I love the unexpected pattern with the texture of the sequins, and it’s a fun way to wear two trends at once.

Do you have the sparkle fever, too? Here are some of my favorite sequined pieces that I have my eye on:
