I’m currently in NYC in 38 degree weather, so this outfit is absolutely not indicative of what I’m currently wearing. My current look consists of socks over my skinny jeans and rubber rain boots. Cute, I know.
First of all, let me start off by saying that I hope everyone had a nice relaxing holiday weekend!
Everyone on Instagram was loving this all black outfit so I decided to go for round 2 in this cold shoulder top. Plus, I guess now that Christmas is over it’s time to start thinking about NYE looks like this one.
I’ve mentioned Posh Square a couple of times before but this cold shoulder top may be my favorite item from them to date. Cold shoulder tops are still having their moment and I love how this one looks with leather and all black accessories.
This outfit looks cute any time of year (except the high heat of summer I guess due to the leather pants) and all black is always chic. However, since we’re on NYE mode, why not wear this look out to your party? Who says you have to wear glitter on New Year’s, anyway? I’m a big believer in breaking all rules, so while everyone shows up in glitter and sequins, you can turn heads in timeless all black with a hint of shoulder.

Now back to the whole cold shoulder trend. I am eating this up. I have admit, I was a little late on the bandwagon with this one because I just wasn’t sure how much I’d find myself wearing an off the shoulder top. But let me tell you, this one is my third or fourth top. There’s sooooo many cute ones that I just had to share a bunch of them here:
Balance out the shoulder-baring silhouette with jeans or bottoms that cover you, and some confidence. The old adage that you should always leave something to the imagination is definitely in place for this one.
