Brand to Love ♥ AELLA

In my first “Brand to Love” installment I featured Sincerely Jules. Now I’m sharing a smaller but equally awesome brand, also located in Downtown LA. They are called Aella, and they have the most incredible and comfortable pieces EVER.

I met the lovely ladies who work at Aella this summer at a little blogger meet-up, and they seriously could not be nicer or more passionate about their brand.

Let me start by saying that each piece I tried on at Aella’s DTLA showroom was so comfy. The brand prides itself on elevated, ready-to-wear pieces that are all machine washable. They are your every girl’s not-so-basic basics. These items are not to be confused with boring. I’m talking about chic ankle pants in breathable, almost gym-like fabric, and featherweight dusters that snap or zip off into shorter versions of themselves. As someone who is always in my car and on the go, being comfortable and stylish don’t go always hand in hand, even though this is key for me.

These ankle pants in particular are, simply put, amazing. Dare I say that these are just as or more comfortable than a pair of Lululemon pants? I took them for a test run on the weekend instead of my usual lazy girl leggings and was instantly sold. Confession: I love leggings. I didn’t think anything could replace my lazy weekend/semi hobo vibe. However, these ankle pants have changed my life and instantly upped weekend my game.

I mentioned up above that Aella makes these neat-o snap off/zip off pieces. Voila! This khaki beauty is one of them. Is this not the most amazing thing ever? Anything to make my life easier when LA slaps me with its bipolar weather is a win in my book.
