Happy Friday, everyone! Today I’m sharing 7 classic black pumps in a ton of different price ranges. Black pumps are such a closet staple because they go with everything, for wherever you may be going. They’re perfect for work, but also very chic and timeless for a nice dinner.

Believe it or not, I just acquired a pair of black pumps last year. Honestly, I don’t even remember life before them because they are my “most reached for” pair of heels that I own.

If you’re going to pay big bucks on a designer shoe, you may as well start with a classic that you’ll get a high cost per wear. You’ve probably noticed me wearing these suede black pumps in a ton of my photos (as seen in this post). In terms of comfort, they are the only pair of heels that I can really wear for an extended period of time (aside from a stacked heel). So although they’re beautiful, the price tag also made it worth it for me because of the comfort factor.

To me, it’s worth splurging on a classic piece that you’ll love. Over the years I’ve tried to save money by buying cheaper versions of whatever it was I wanted at the time. You know what would always happen? I’d end up with 2-4 affordable versions it, not satisfied, and spending the same amount of money, if not more, than if I just saved my money and got the more expensive piece.

I’ve tried to practice this more recently since I’m running out of closet space. I really have found that having less “stuff” and more quality pieces makes me much happier in terms of my investments.

This isn’t for everyone so I’ve picked black pumps at every price point. I don’t want to be delusional about life and I know we’re all at different places with what we’re looking for in a shoe. But, if you’ve been thinking about investing in a pair of nice shoes (or maybe trying to hint at someone for Christmas) then definitely start with some black pumps.

I personally love any heel with a pointed toe. Regardless of the color, a pointed toes elongates your foot and actually makes you appear taller in photos. So all of the pumps you see here have the pointed toe. Fake it ‘til you make it, people!
