April Fashion Finds Under $200 | Road Trip Inspired Clothes

Happy April! In March I kicked off a new monthly series featuring my favorite fashion finds under $200. This is my second post in the series and it’s really fun bringing my “wish list” to life in this shoppable collage. I have a terrible habit of saving items from a bunch of different sites but it’s fun seeing them come together in one place, particularly when it ends up all one cohesive palette.

A couple of weekends ago I went to Palm Springs with some girl friends, and I think I’m still carrying some of those desert vibes with me. It finally got warm and sunny here, so a road trip combined with much anticipated warm weather is a recipe for true Southern California style.

Here are some of my favorites…

I wore these striped pants in Palm Springs and posted them on Instagram. A ton of you LOVED them and so I wanted to make sure that I featured them here because they’re only $75! They are beyond comfy, and absolutely perfect for travel, even if it’s on a plane! There’s a cute little detachable sash belt that I kept on, but you can easily remove it if it’s not your thing. I’m wearing my normal size 4 and they fit comfortably, but I probably could have gone down a size.

I’ve been a fan of Splendid for the longest time because they make the softest items. This $66 maxi dress would look so cute for that in between weather paired with a denim jacket and a cute little hat. Navy is a nice alternative to black and a great color to ease into spring.

A cute little straw clutch for less than $100? Yes please! I love that this clutch is in a traditional shape, but the straw “fabric” is such a refreshing spin on spring break fancy and totally perfect for an outdoor date.

This fun floral bag is a way to embrace the “florals for spring” trend in an unexpected way. It’s a statement bag with a not so statement price tag. The black and white flowers actually make this purse relatively neutral, but the green and blue add a nice pop of color.

Last but not least, I saw this yellow jumpsuit on Anthropologie this past weekend and immediately added to cart. It is SO cute and the yellow is a great shade that I think would actually look pretty great on most skin tones. It has a cropped length, so you don’t have to worry about being too tall or too short for it. The sash helps define a waist for a flattering fit. I cannot WAIT to open this box.
