5 Easy Graphic Tee Outfit Ideas

Hi there! Last week on Instagram I partnered with four other blogger friends and we each shared a different graphic tee and styled it in our own way. In case you missed it, here are all of the looks for 5 easy graphic tee outfit ideas in case you need a little closet inspiration.

I’m sharing the full details of my pieces below, but if you want to shop each girl’s look, then head to their blogs. While you’re there, give them a follow, too!

MY GRAPHIC TEE OUTFIT

It’s getting hot here in Los Angeles, so jeans right now are a no go for me. I opted for a lightweight, floral mini skirt (on sale now!) with a comfy elastic waistband.

The contrast of my graphic tee with a floral skirt edges things up a bit so the outfit isn’t too feminine (linking a more affordable option here). I love this tee because it has a western vibe too it without being too kitschy.

If you’re not sure how to mix a print with a graphic tee for your outfit, here’s a simple tip: look for similar colors in your tee and your printed piece. My shirt is off-white with a subtle yellow hue, plus there’s yellow in the actual graphic. Both of these complement and bring out the yellow of the flowers in my skirt.

I opted for a medium in my tee because I like to wear them oversized. A bigger size also helps to be sure I’m not stretching out the shirt if I’m knotting it, like I did here.

STYLE TIP: To make a baggier shirt feel a little more polished, cuff the sleeves a couple of times.

I’m wearing these comfy black slides (under $100), but I also love this look with a pair of crisp white sneakers. (These canvas sneakers are classics and only $75.)

THE OTHER 4 OUTFITS

LAURA LEIGH

Laura Leigh kept her outfit comfy and perfect for a backyard picnic. Easy distressed jeans kept her graphic tee outfit casual, but her adorable white headband kept it polished at the same time.

HILLARY

Hillary is thee queen of skirts and dresses, so it was no surprise to me she styled her graphic tee outfit with a skirt. To add some edge, she wore a denim jacket and some combat boots.

CHRISTINE

Christine has elevated chic down to a science. Her shorts suit set and sporty Birkenstock sandals bring a cool-girl vibe to her tee. (It says RAD on it, which… she is.)

DANA

A fun Elton John t-shirt, unexpected plaid, and casual sneakers bring a casual but elevated vibe to Dana’s look. So cute!
