Every holiday season I always get the urge to treat myself to a new outfit. There’s really just something so fun about this time of year that always calls for a festive new look. Whether your upcoming calendar is filled with glam nights out or cozy nights in, I have three affordable holiday outfit ideas to share with you – all equally as cute as the next.
Affordable Holiday Outfits For Every Festivity
For Your Cold Weather Getaway
I lived in Utah until I was 9 years old, and as I’ve gotten older I really long for cold, cozy weather around this time of year. Matt and I have made a habit of booking a cold weather trip every winter. Whether it’s to the mountains or chilly NYC, I just really love putting on all of the layers.
This cute puffer jacket is the perfect outer layer to any cold weather holiday look. Throw it on over a sweater and some jeans, for a cute and casual look. It comes in different colors, but I’m totally crushing on this rust color right now.
My jeans are under $100 and so comfortable. As much as I love rigid denim, when it’s cold outside I always opt for a pair of jeans with come stretch because they’re way comfier. I’ll be wearing these affordable jeans with every casual outfit all season.
For A Holiday Party
If you’re looking for an affordable holiday party outfit, look no further. Holiday dresses are great and all, but have you ever considered changing things up with some black coated skinny jeans? I love coated jeans for the holidays. The leather-like texture feels more dressed up than a regular pair of jeans, and you can achieve a leather-like look without the hefty price tag.
I’m typically a minimalist when it comes to jewelry, but if you’re going to a holiday party and dressing up, ’tis the season to accessorize! My bracelet set and both necklaces are all under $50.
For Christmas Eve or Morning
Last but not least is this affordable holiday outfit for the cozy gal. This fun red snowflake pajama set is the perfect festive outfit for a night in baking cookies, snuggling by the fire, or opening presents on Christmas morning.
For more festive flair, pair with this snuggly plaid blanket scarf and keep your tore warm with some fair isle socks.
