Pink Sequins and Faux Fur

Sequins are too fun not to wear year round, am I right? I’m going to keep this post short and sweet because honestly, there’s not much to say about this look other than “pink sequins” and “YES.”

I love unexpected twists on the traditional. After all, that’s what makes personal style so great! The sequins on this top get a color upgrade to the most perfect, on-trend shade that is perfect for spring. It’s a great way to add a little shine without being stuck in the holiday season. The pink sequins are also a fresh take on pastel. The sparkles are so playful and I just love the little diagonal ruffle across the chest. This top is on sale (yasssss) and only $61! What’s even crazier is even at the original price, this top look a lot more expensive than it really is. Don’t you just love when you find pieces like that? I went up a size only because I wanted the silhouette to be a little baggier, but I think my regular size small would’ve fit, too.

I’m not sorry to say that I am once again wearing my favorite light wash jeans by AGOLDE. I really need to get a new pair of favorite denim for spring so you all have a new pair to look at, but I cant help it! These have a vintage, lived-in feel and the cropped hem is perfect for my 5’4” height!

You may remember this pink statement coat from a couple of months ago when I shared a really easy styling trick when wearing colored faux fur. It’s back, but this time I paired it with a pink sparkly friend for a fun monochromatic party on the top half of my body. Sadly, the exact coat is sold out (it’s soooo soft) but I linked a couple below in the carousel so you can still achieve the same overall look.

Since the pink sequins and the faux fur are already a little – okay, a lot – extra, I kept accessories minimal with go-with-anything sock booties and classic aviator sunnies. Transitional spring dressing can be hard, but both of these items are perfect for this time of year. Faux fur and sequins are both heavy enough to wear when it’s cool, but the pale pinks tones are totally right and seasonally appropriate for the spring. Happy sparkling!
